I made this album for my granddaughter, Casey. It was fun to make, and easy. I created this pages each from one 12x12" card stock page. The flaps on the front of the pages were added separately. Each page features a large pocket within the page and a pocket on the back of the page. I added a bunch of mats that fit a 4x6" picture, so that my beautiful Daughter-in-Law can just pick her favorite pictures and put them in the album.
I have a video slide show on YouTube and I show all of the pages in their entirety, including what's under the flaps on the pages. Please come check it out! I'm sorry that I had to blur out Casey's picture, but believe me, she is GORGEOUS!
I only put two pictures in this album, the rest is us to Sarah!

August and September Arc Pages
Welcome to my page share for my Arc Planner!
Hi everyone! I am finally feeling like I am getting to a place where I can relax and enjoy my new craft room! I have actually finished two projects, and am working on posts and videos on them. I am hoping to get them up and running by the end of the week. Until then, I thought I would share my pages with you. Some weeks have been soooooo hard! We have been working on fixing the old house to sell, trying to settle into the new one…it has been a ton of work.
This page, the beach page, has been my favorite page so far. I always felt more calm when working on this page.
I used my mini page for Wednesday this week. It worked very nicely! I colored the tab with a highlighter to make it stand out a little.
This fold out page was done at work. I had a little extra time on my hands. So, I did it, brought it home, and punched it to add it to my book.
Here's whats behind that page.
I hated this page. The stickers were cute, but I had to use a Sharpie on them. You can tell I figured that out after the fact. I was not happy, but I was also stressed out, so it went well with the theme.
I love this page. The 50's I think are my favorite decade. I sometimes think I would have liked to be a young adult during that time.
Love it!
The week coming up. I am feeling uninspired, but I think as I work on it, I will get into it.
Thanks for looking. Stay Crafty, My Friends!!!

Happy Birthday, Max!
My Awesome and Wonderful Nephew recently turned 16, and this is the card I made him.
I was trying for a manly type of card. I decided to go with this Polaroid theme for it when I saw this awesome cut file on my Silhouette shopping site.
I changed the actual "picture" that came out of the camera. I found another cut file that said "Happy Birthday" on it, so I resized it and used it. I cut a little piece off of it, and adhered it into the slot so that it wouldn't fall out. Behind the camera is a slot that I hid his birthday money in. I hope he likes it. He loves my cards (he saves them all) so it's very stressful for me trying to come up with another cool card for him. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

A few things in my new craft room I wanted to share
Remember this awesome typewriter that I made using Paper Phenomenons tutorial? I was using it as a decorative piece in my old house. I was making the signs for the months and using this to display them. Well, I'm in my new room now, and I have decided to use it a little differently now.
The typewriter sits on my desk now (fitting, don't you think?), and I am using it as a memo paper holder. I put the papers in it on the top, and I have pens propped up on the side. It works great, and really is handy to have! Plus, it looks like it should…a typewriter with paper in it. I should make some memo papers with some typewriter font on it, that would be cool! This is my ribbon storage. In my old room I could put these rings on the wall behind my door using the Command Hooks. The texture in my new room is such that they won't stick no matter what I do. So, I came up with another solution.
I hung the hooks under my cabinet, then used curtain rods to put the hooks on. It works great. I can see all my ribbons, and they are easy to get to and remove from the rod if I need them.
I did the same thing when hanging my "Create" banner. I attached the hooks under my shelves.
I kept my Mississippi Mud jug from the old house. My hubby drank from it while he was building my old craft room. It sits on my desk still, but now since I have more room, I have a variety of pictures displayed with it. I think it looks very pretty.
Thats what I wanted to show you today. I am working on an album for my granddaughter and will get it on this blog soon. I am also going to do a quick tutorial on how I did the pages for it. I am slowly getting back into the crafting groove. (I am getting my free time back!)
Stay crafty, my friends!
