Miscellaneous Arc Planner Goodness

Hi, everyone!  Today I would like to share with you a little bit of planner goodness that I have  come across in my shopping travels, and a little project that I was inspired to create.
I found these awesome goodies when I was out and about, checking out several of my favorite stores.  I found these awesome tabs, sticky notes, paper clips, and tags to use in my Arc Planner!  Don't you just love this stuff?
This is all going to look so good in my planner!

Then I was inspired by the "Next Level" notebook that I saw on the Levenger site.  When I saw it, I remembered that I had this notebook in my stash.
I have had this notebook for years.  Yes, years!
I had written on the pages, thinking that I would use it for a project, then I changed my mind and stored it away.  But the cool thing that this notebook has are color coded edges…this is where my idea came into play.
I got out the Circa Starter Kit that I had purchased...
…and cut the pages so that the color of the edges were stepped like the "Next Level" notebook.

And Taa Daa…my DIY notebook!

I was thinking that using Washi tape on the edges of papers would also be a way to make a stepped notebook.  What else can you think of?

Washi Tape Notes for my Arc Planner

I was making a recipe book, which I will be showing here very soon…and I had leftover pieces of index cards.  What's a girl to do?  Make notes for my Arc Notebook Planner!
I took a piece of acetate, cut it to size and punched it.  Then I made the file folder type tab on it, and covered it with Washi tape so I could see it!  Then on it, I layered the pieces of index cards, taped to the acetate with the tape that I have from my Smash Book supplies.  Now, when I need a quick note stuck elsewhere in my book, I have one, and I have a pretty one to boot!  It's kind of like sticky notes, but better because it's pretty and I was not wasting my scraps!

DIY Washi Tape!

I know, you're thinking…"Again?"  But this is COOL and I thought you would love this idea.
These strips came out of MAGAZINES!  I was going through my 2012 magazines, saving the articles and pictures that I wanted for inspiration, and cutting out images for my junk journals, and I got this bright idea…strips of colored yumminess for "washi" tape!
It worked perfectly and just wait til you see my planner page decorated with some of this!

My New Address Book

I wanted to start the new year with a new address book.  I wasn't sure what to do and then I realized that I could make one that would be more awesome than anything that I could have purchased anywhere.  And, it would be customizable and FUN to do.  Then, while I was at my local Jo Ann's fabric store, they had these binders and accessories by Basic Grey on sale, 50% off.  That sealed the deal.
I bought an assortment of goodies, including extra patterned paper, fun page cut outs, pockets for each month and plastic pockets.
Then I sat down at my computer and designed a page to fit into it.  I added stickers to the tabs to maker the sections for my book, and taa daa!  I now have an awesome address book that's new and functional and PRETTY!

I am working on a couple of new projects…

I have come up with a new way to use paper bags in a mini album.

I found a cool new way to use some GIANT envelopes in a mini album.

I created some new planner goodies.

STAY TUNED!

Well Hello, February!

I just wanted to share my February Greeting for my Vintage Typewriter.

I decided that this month I would use some of the cut outs and place them into the keys of the typewriter.  I think it turned out cute.

I blinged up the card with some heart shaped embellishments, and used a glitter pen throughout the images.  I'm sorry my camera doesn't pick that up for you.
