Happy National Scrapbook Day!!!

Happy National Scrapbook Day!!!

I hope you all are having a wonderful, paper cutting, picture taking, memory making kind of a day.  I am going to be at our local Craft Warehouse attending some demonstrations on how to use the Silhouette Cameo that my Hubby just bought me.  So far…I LOVE IT!!  But it sure has a lot of things I need to learn!  I can't wait to start creating projects with it!!

For your viewing pleasure, I am showing you this mini album I made using Graphic 45's Bohemian Bazaar paper collection.  I just love how it turned out!  The colors are so bright and cheerful, perfect for a celebration mini album.
This top view shows off the gatefold style of the album.  I made the pages out of file folders.
The folders are cut and folded in such a way to give multiple pockets and a tag piece that's built into the page.
On the back cover of the album I made another photo mat and tag. There is so much room to put photos and journaling!!

I am planning on doing a YouTube video on this mini, how it works, and a tutorial to show you how to do the pages.  Stay tuned!!

Stay crafty, my friends!!

  4. Michelle,
This is gorgeous. One questions, when you attached the hinges to the gatefolds, did you stagger them? Thanks!

  5. Hello, Michele (with one "L")! That was a great question, and the answer is no, I didn't. I centered them both on the hinges and they worked out just fine with the pages. Thanks for stopping by!
