A Ladies Diary Mini Album

Hi all, welcome to the blog.  Today I am going to show you a little of this mini album that I made.  I also did a video that you can find on my YouTube channel that will go more into the book and how the pages are constructed.
I used my "double paper bag page" design, but did some different things with it for this mini.
It turned out gorgeous, and has all kinds of space to tuck those little letters and notes, pictures and journaling.
Don't you just love this paper?
Here is a peek at one of the page layouts.  Please come over to see the video.

ETA:  Here is a list of the products I used.

Bags:  Celebrate It
Paper:  Graphic 45, Paper Accents, Bazzill
Brads:  American Crafts
Lace and Ribbon:  Teresa Collins, American Crafts, some unknown
Bling:  Recollections, Prima
Flowers:  Petaloo, Recollections, Bo Bunnuy
Doily:  Bo Bunny
Metal Key:  Graphic 45
Metal Lock:  JoAnn's
Photo Corners:  3L
Paper Clips:  Prima
Postcards:  American Tag Company
Punches:  Martha Stewart, WRMK Envelope Punch Board
Ink:  Tim Holtz, Prima

Stay crafty, my friends!

  1. This album looks gorgeous and I have to agree, the papers you used are one of my favourite collections.

  2. This album is so gorgeous. I saw the video and I came to your blog hoping to find a list of the things you used but I'm having trouble finding it. Can you possibly point out where it would be? I thought you said in the video you would share a list. If you didn't, it may be that I was doing a little wishful listening (like wishful thinking only using my ears). It wouldn't be the first time in my life I heard only what I wanted to hear. ;)

  4. No, Michelle. Thank you. I often see projects like this and I think "I can't do that. It's too complicated and pretty." But your video made me feel a little confident and now I have a stack of paper bags. Oh boy!

  5. I love this album and your construction method and would like to try it. However, I would like to know what adhesives you used and where in the album, as I'm new to this.

  6. Elaine S. HI! Thanks for stopping by. I really appreciate your comments. I used Score Tape on almost everything. I get it at my local stores, but you can order it on line as well. I use it for attaching the bags, for attaching the papers, etc. I use Scotch quick dry glue for heavier embellishments, for the flowers, etc. You can get this at any craft or fabric store. Those are my go-to adhesives. I love love love Score tape. That stuff is wonderful and so strong. I hope that answers your question. Have fun making the album!
