"Enjoy the Journey"

I made this mini album using a tutorial series by Scrap Queen on YouTube.

I am calling it "Enjoy the Journey".  It uses Authentique's "Quest" paper pack and also Tim Holtz "Correspondence" papers.
Here are just a few pictures.
This album has lots of pockets and flips and pull outs.
It has some places with photo mats...
...and some places left "open" for pictures.
Each page also has a pocket for a booklet pullout.  There are 5 in all.

 Isn't it lovely?
I made a slideshow on my YouTube Channel.  You can see it here.  In the description I have put links to the tutorials that I followed to make this album.

I hope you enjoy it.  Have a wonderfully crafty day.  See you after vacation!!!

"The Mouse and Me"

I am using a tutorial from a very talented lady named Ann Marie Cholewinski.  She made an adorable album called "The Best Trip Ever".  You can see her video walk-through here.
I made it and I LOVE IT!  I had some old papers from Simple Stories and this album is sized so I could use a bunch of 6x6 papers!  I think it turned out super cute...so much so that I started another one!
I didn't have enough to make another one, so I ran to Craft Warehouse and bought some papers by Echo Park to make this one.  Again, I love this album!

Just thought I would share the "creative process" with you.  Believe it or not, I know exactly where everything is!

Hop on over to her YouTube channel and check out her tutorial.  I know you will love it too.

I will be gone for the next week or so, as I am going on VACATION!!!  I'll miss you, but will see you soon!

Stay crafty!!

Good Vibes

Today I did a mini album share on my "Good Vibes" mini album.  This album is another variation of my page configurations album that I have done lately.

Click on this sentence to go to the YouTube Slideshow!

I used My Mind's Eye papers, "Good Vibes" along with their ephemera and stickers and also some pieces from Crate Paper's "Good Vibes" frames and ephemra.

Tutorials for the page configurations are also available.  I used 10 of the configurations on this album, one on each side of a single page attached to the spine.

The 20 page configurations are here.
The way I put them together making "page sets"  in my "Happiness is Homemade" album are here.

I have also used this style of page configurations in a totally different way in my "Tall Skinny Mini" and my "Short Chunky Mini" albums.

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a crafty day!

The Page Set Tutorial is Uploaded!

Hi everyone!

I have uploaded the video for the tutorial showing how I took my 20 different page configurations and made them into 5 page sets using 4 configurations each.  I show how I put them together to create exactly the same pages in my "Happiness is Homemade" album.

As a bonus, I came up with another idea and will show what I did for my "Good Vibes" album using 10 of the page configurations using a base page in a different way!

Click here for the link to the video.

Thanks for stopping by, and have a CRAFTY DAY!~

Tutorial available for my "Page configurations"!

Page configurations?  You may be wondering what that is.  I did another take on my "Tall Skinny Mini Album" and my "Short Chunky Mini Album" to create yet another mini where pages range from 4 1/4" to 7 1/2" wide and are 7 1/2" tall.  My tutorial shows 20 different pages to make, just using one 12x12" piece of card stock, a scoreboard, scissors and some adhesive.

The cover to this album is 8x8", and the spine is 3" wide.

Here is a link to the slideshow I made to show the pages of a finished album using my "Page Configurations".

Here is a picture of the album itself...

Here is a link to the tutorial on YouTube.  This is the first tutorial, the next one will show exactly how I attached the 20 pages together to make the 5 "Page Sets" used in the album. The "page sets" provide a variety of pockets, flips and flaps that will make this the most interactive album ever!  I will post that link when I am able to get it done.

Happy Crafting, my Friends!

Then, I have a video on another folio album I made, with a very neat page configuration and lots of

That video is here.

Then, I made videos on how I made the "Home Sweet Home" Album...
They are listed here:

Short Chunky Mini Album with Tutorial

Good morning, everyone!  Today I am bringing you the "little sister" of my "Tall Skinny Mini" album that I did several years ago.  This album was been in the works for a long time, it was shelved for a while, but she is back and done and I can't wait to show you.

She is 6" wide by 8 1/2" tall and has 5 page configurations.  I'll explain that in a minute.
Her spine is 3" wide.  I used an OLD collection of a combination of Recollections "Memories Documented" and Simple Stories "Documented" for this book.  I have a bunch left over and I think I want to make another one!
The pages are made for a combination of 20 different ways to fold and/or cut (slightly) 8 1/2"x11" card stock.  I came up with the method when doing my Tall Skinny Mini album, and adapted it.

There is, however, a difference in that I combined 2-3 of the pages onto one "signature" or page configuration.  There are literally 100's of ways to combine these pages and create a truly one of a kind, interactive album.
These are just some of the pages.  Yes, just SOME.  The pages flip and flap and have pockets and hidden spaces.
There are clips not only holding tags on, but holding flips and flaps in place.
I incorporated belly bands into the book.  There are mats to hold 4x6 pictures and 3x4 pictures.
I figured out how to attach different pages together to make one big interactive piece for each assembly.
This album just keeps going and going.  The paper collection was so pretty that I just wanted to keep using it.
I hope you like this.  If so, please check out the YouTube videos I published today.

The picture below is the last page before the cover...but wait, there's more...
Here it is, with a belly band holding tags...
This opens into a triple page.  I really love how it came out!

Here are some links for you:

As I said above, this is the little sister to my "Tall Skinny Mini" album that I made.  The videos for the "Tall Skinny Mini" can be found on my channel by following the link to my videos.  (Where you can also find the videos for my "Short Chunky Mini Album", three of them, just published today).

Seasonal Craft Planning

I saw a post on Instagram by Magical Plans and I just had to recreate it for myself!  Quite frankly she has a lot of super awesome ideas, and you really should go check her ideas out!

She made a super cute seasonal crafting planner page, and I knew I needed to make one too.  She had two seasons per page, but I decided to make each season on one, that way I could use it for more than one year.

I think that they turned out super cute.  I can't wait to start adding ideas to the pages.

I'm not sure if I am actually going to write on the pages, or use sticky notes on them and then remove them when the project is done.

I used my Happy Planner sticker stash to decorate these pages.

"Sundaries" Album in a Box

Good afternoon!  Today I am doing a project share on the "Sundaries" album in a box I made.

The brown mat on the cover comes out to hold a photo.
The tutorial for this album is by Tamra Kilgore-Merrill of Country Craft Creations, and you can find it here on her YouTube Channel.  It's called "Accolade Album in a Box"
This is an amazing and fun album to do, and I loved how it turned out.  I was able to stash-shop for this album.  The papers and assorted die cuts, stickers and transparancies are from Glitz.  I have had them in my stash for years, and this was the perfect project to use them on.
There are a ton of pages and flips in the album.  Some of the cards pull out as well.

Everything in this album is gorgeous.  The box itself is made of card stock, I used 110# to aid in the sturdiness of it.

I had a ton of die cuts that I added to the pockets.
The top flap even opens to hide even more space for die cuts and photo opportunities.

Other supplies used were ribbons, bling, magnets by Basic Grey (6 of them) and flowers from Prima and Petal.

Go check out the tutorial, and go check out the Country Craft Creations store.  You won't be disappointed at all!

Stay crafty, my friends!
