We are so glad you are here! We love making and sharing our projects, and we are excited to have you visiting our site. Please leave us a comment and let us know what you think!
Hi all, and welcome back to my channel. Today I have a tutorial for a fun project. This started as a kit (that I have had in my stash since around 2005), I added some Graphic 45 papers (Place in Time from 2012 and Time to Flourish from 2014), and this is the result.
I altered the CD folios that came in the kit and altered the size and orientation of the box and made this project, which I will go over in the video. Then I had some interest from quite a few people about a tutorial. I recreated this project with Kraft cardstock and some chipboard. I hope you enjoy the tutorial.
I do not know if you can get these specific Graphic 45 papers, they are older collections. I do know that there is a newer calendar paper collection available. Check the Graphic 45 site or your local craft store.
I also know that Country Craft Creations has a wonderful collection called
“Remember the Time” that would be lovely with this project.
During the tutorial, from Country Craft Creations I used:
Kraft CardstockChipboard (Heavy weight and light weight)Art Glitter GlueSeam Binding
The basic cut list for ONE folio: Please note you will need to multiply these by the number of folios you want to make.
1 - 11 1/2 x 8 5/8
1 - 6 1/8 (-1/16) x 1 3/4
1 - 4 1/2 x 5 1/8
For the box:
Chipboard:
1 - 5 7/8 x 5 7/8 (Heavyweight). Please note that the bottom will depend on if you want to use the box feet or not, I discuss this in the video.
4 - 2 7/8 x 5 7/8 (Lightweight)
Cardstock:
1 - 6 x 6
2 - 7 x 6 1/2
2 - 6 x 6 1/2
Thanks for watching and have a great day!
The first video is the design team haul I received from Country Craft Creations. I have the exclusive collection "Schoolhouse Memories" and Heartfelt Creations "Friendship Rose" collection. These papers, with an assortment of embellishments are going to be so fun to play with over the next month.
This second video is an unboxing of the #10 "Books" box from Your Creative Studio. These are fantastic assortments of goodies for journals, planners, and anything else you want to do. This box includes stickers, papers, washi tape, stamps, and even a sticky note pad that looks like library cards.
Come check out the videos and I'll see you soon with some projects.
Do you want to see a fun, easy and quick project?? Then check out this video!
I made the original album with press-board tags from the Dollar Store. I recreated it with chipboard for the tutorial. It is really easy and I have 24 recipe cards in it!
I used scraps from the Country Craft Creations virtual retreat to make the first one, and scraps from a 2020 Craftology kit for the second. All information is in the video. Please come and check it out!
Thanks for stopping by, and Stay Merry, My Friends!!!
Today I'm sharing something I thought was a fun idea. I made a stuffed envelope for a junk journal insert. It is stuffed, but not too bulky, and I used awesome products from the "Fall" box from Your Creative Studio.
I did an unboxing of this collection, and it's here if you want to see in detail what came in the box.
I used coffee dyed papers to create the envelope, and it is full of fun surprises to keep in the pocket, or to add to a junk journal as an extremely fun element. I hope you enjoy the tutorial on how I made the envelope and the fun window pocket from a business envelope that I created for some of the elements that came in this "Fall" box.
Stay Crafty and I'll see you soon with more fun projects.
November 30 through December 4th we at Country Craft Creations had a virtual retreat, called the Christmas Cookie Exchange Retreat. It was FULL of wonderful projects and I did a video sharing what the designers did for tutorial and what I did with the leftovers of the tutorials. In the making of the tutorials I tried two card techniques that I have wanted to learn, and now I'm going to share with you too!
Come check it out! If you haven't checked out Country Craft Creations, and/or the retreats/virtual retreats, please go to https://countrycraftcreations.com
We used several paper collections for the retreat:
The exclusive paper collections that we used from Country Craft Creations are:
Snowman and Friends
Once Upon a Christmas (I accidentally called it Old World Christmas in the video, YIKES!)
Sugar and Spice
Christmas Cheer
'Twas the Night
They can be found here
The other amazing paper collections we used are:
Echo Park's "Winter"
and "Santa Claus Lane" (This link is to a mega bundle...Oh my goodness!!!)
From Simple Stories we used:
"Mix and a Mingle""Baking Spirits Bright"
Heartfelt Creations, "Holiday Star"
The tutorial I used to make Jacqueline's Snowglobe is here
Good morning...I have been awake since 2 am, and because of that you all get a tutorial I wasn't originally planning on posting today. But, what else are you supposed to do when you can't sleep?
This is my take on a loaded envelope or loaded pocket. I'm using Carta Bella's "White Christmas" paper collection from Country Craft Creations. You can find it here.
I have been wanting to do this idea for a while, so I hope you enjoy it.
This album is SO AMAZING! These exclusive papers are so incredible that I created a book that totally keeps all of the paper images intact and gives room for photos to create an incredible family heirloom!
Because of the nature of this unique tutorial, I have created a guide to be a companion to the tutorial. It can be found at this link. I don't normally do a guide like this, but for this album, I thought it would be better and would assist in the tutorial. I want your project to come out perfectly!
Here are links to the products from Country Craft Creations:
Twas the Night, please note that I used the 8 x 8 paper pack
Artisan Cardstock: I used Brown for the base color and two sheets of Olive, but Kraft, Natural, and Black would also work.Gold Mirror PaperHeartfelt Creations Small Festive Poinsettia Die. I created these fun notebooks for every month using the gorgeous paper collection "Remember the Time" from Country Craft Creations. This is a quick tutorial and fun to do, and will show you how to do the pamphlet stitch if you aren't familiar with it.
I made some more junk journals and wanted to share.
I had inspiration from Cori Dahmen who did a great tutorial on a hidden binding, and I had to try it. That video is here.
I also used a lot of goodness from a collection from Your Creative Studio. That site is here.
I did two books in this tutorial, one is from policy envelopes and one is made from a mini composition book. I hand dyed my papers with coffee, and the tutorial I used for that is here.
I found these half sized composition books at my local Office Depot and they are so much fun to alter. Come check out what I did using leftovers from my Echo Park "Fall Fever" paper collection!
Here is Part 2 of this fun tutorial. I will share the binding and the way I decorated and used my patterned paper. The papers, "Fall Breeze", are exclusive to Country Craft Creations, and can be found here.
In case you missed Part 1 of this tutorial, you can click on it below to be taken to the video.
Come check this out! Seriously, this is pretty cool. I found a tutorial on a straw binding for a mini album. It was so intriguing that I had to try it. I did tweak the construction, and it turned out amazing. If you want to see what gave me the inspiration, the original tutorial it is here.
I'm using the paper collection "Fall Breeze" by Country Craft Creations for this project. This paper collection is amazing!
I have to do another catch up post because I just flat didn't do a blog post. I'm so sorry! It's been busy, but here we are and it's
HALLOWEEN!
So Trick or Treat and here's what I've been up to.
First up, I did a design team project for Country Craft Creations. This is a great explosion gift box using the We R Memory Keepers Explosion Scoreboard. The papers are from Echo Park and are called "Fall Fever". The papers and the scoreboard are both available at Country Craft Creations.
I also used the papers to make this fun flip album using envelopes. This turned out so cool!
I received another amazing box from Amanda at Your Creative Studio. This one is vintage camera and it is AMAZING! This is the unboxing, and the new junk journal tutorial is coming soon!
I had this project waiting in the wings for a while. It's a great way to use scraps...I made this cute Meander book and scraps from previous design team packages.
These projects are shares of some amazing little tutorials from other great creators out there. There are two new little projects, and links to the other creators are in the video descriptions.
I also did a recap of the projects I made for #sandys13frightsbeforehalloween2022. These cards look so amazing on my haunted desk.
Thanks for watching, and I'll see you soon with other projects.
I was given a box of beautiful goodies, “Flowers”, from Amanda at Your Creative Studio, https://ycvstudio.com/ and I made the absolutely cutest little project.
Have you heard of the nano sized traveler’s notebooks? Neither had I but I discovered it and decided to make one. I love this little pocket sized notebook. Come check it out!
I just posted a tutorial for you that I think you will like. It's quick and easy and will help you keep organized, and who doesn't like that?
I love paper and organizers and notepads, this project is perfect. I was "challenged" in a way by my friend Cheryl to help figure out a tutorial by another amazing crafter, Mrs. Brightside, on YouTube. Not only did I figure it out, but I also did it in two other sizes!
This project goes together very easy. I show how to make the one 5x8 size book in the tutorial. Because I did it in three sizes, rather than try to type out all of the measurements in the description, I did a chart, so you can just it to make any of the three sizes. Click the link below to get the Google Doc.
In the tutorial I am just making the base o the notebook. In the examples I share, I'm using my design team package from Country Craft Creations! The Echo Park Winter Collection is an older collection that I had leftovers from. The Halloween paper is from my stash and is very old (I had it out for all of the #sandys13frightsbeforehalloweenprojects I have been doing).

Hi all, I have had some whirl wind time here in my neck of the woods. I am, again, catching up on my blog posts. I am so sorry for being delinquent in my posting. I have sooooo many irons in the fire...I'm hoping after this post I will be back to being more regular with my posting.
I went to a Country Craft Creations Retreat in Utah, and man-oh-man was that a blast. If you haven't been to one and are interested, check out this link for information. You will love it. It is way above and beyond any kind of scrapbooking event I have ever been to. There are also VIRTUAL retreats you can do...It's so much fun!
I am busy working on my next design team projects...I have an envelope album, a new (to me, and it is soooooo cool) binding for a mini album, a desk organizer book and a note holder in the works. If you haven't seen the papers I am using...here is the video share.
Below is a video where I showcased several smaller projects I made using tutorials from other great crafters in the YouTube Universe. I have links to their tutorials in the video description.
And some more projects in this video, again, the links to the other crafters tutorials are in the video description.

Below is my offering for week #11 of #sandys13frightsbeforehalloween2022. Check out this Double Vertical Stepper Card!
Last, but not least, just today I added a very short video to share what this Tag and Envelope Flip Album turned out to be...It was super fun and I used a ton of scraps!
Thanks for all of your support and your patience with me as I do my catch up's. I will be better...I just had so many things going on. I appreciate all of my followers and hope that my crafts make you happy.
I have been sick and trying to catch up on what I need to do. I have so much going on! There is the design team, the #sandys13frightsbeforehalloween2022, I'm doing a retreat in a week and the October Craftology kit for Country Craft Creations! PHEW!
I'm including a couple of videos in this post...I hope you don't mind!
I have my new September Design Team Package from Country Craft Creations. I received Echo Parks "Fall Fever" and Country Craft Creations "Fall Breeze". They are spectacular, and the colors...OH MY! Come check out the goodies I received!
Yesterday was the 9th week of #sandys13frightsbeforehalloween2022, and I made a Corner Folded Open Gate Card...this is fantastic! The tutorial is here...
I also shared a quick Magic Movie of my tag and envelope flip album. This is actually the second one I made, I will be sharing the first soon, but I had to share because this one used the scraps from my last Design Team Package using Carta Bella's Hocus Pocus paper collection. Check out this quick share!
I think that's it for now. Thanks for stopping by and have a spooktacular day!
It's week #8! Can you believe it??? We are having so much fun with #sandys13frightsbeforehalloween2022 and I have yet another card for you that I have seen and wanted to try out. I have had a lot of comments that people haven't seen the cards that I am showing, so I'm glad I am bringing them out to you.
This card has been around for a while, there are many tutorials. I'm not sure where it originated. For this tutorial I'm using "Oct 31" by Fancy Pants, and "Spooks" by SEI. I hope you enjoy the tutorial. Thanks for coming by!

Hi all, and welcome back to my Haunted Craft Room!
Today I have tutorial #3 using Carta Bella's "Hocus Pocus" paper collection. This is a design team project for Country Craft Creations, https://countrycraftcreations.com. I made this fun folio that features a tuck tab closure and three ways to use your Sizzix Essential Mini Album Die set by Lori Whitlock https://www.countrycraftcreations.com/products/sizzix-thinlits-dies
I hope you enjoy this tutorial. From the scraps I have leftover I have another surprise...but you have to wait until my next video!
Below are the cutting guides and the links for the products I used. I used some cardstock that coordinates with the paper collection for the album die pages, and the patterned paper as well. The cardstock listed below is Artisan Cardstock from Country Craft Creations, https://www.countrycraftcreations.com/collections/artisan-cardstock. I used light weight chipboard for the cover, https://www.countrycraftcreations.com/products/chipboard-light-weight-12x12-sheet.
The paper collection, Hocus Pocus by Carta Bella is here, https://www.countrycraftcreations.com/products/chipboard-light-weight-12x12-sheet#/cd9f1be9-5b7d-494c-9001-d53b43632e20/fullscreen/autofilters=true&filter[brand][]=Carta+Bella&page=1&query=hocus+pocus&query_name=match_and&rpp=20

Hello, everyone, and welcome! This is week #7 of the #sandys13frightsbeforehalloween2022 collaboration and I am having so much fun bringing you all of the fun cards. Today we have a card that I first saw on Instagram, but there wasn't a real tutorial, so I did some searching...I found a tutorial and inspiration on YouTube by Sam Calcott. She has a tutorial here. https://youtu.be/CCR4t6GB7jQ
I love this card, and the wow factor is amazing. I already have some ideas on altering this design! I'm using papers by Echo Park called "Bewitched", from 2018, and "Bewitching Hour" by Country Craft Creations, from 2021.

This is a design team project for Country Craft Creations using Carta Bella's "Hocus Pocus" paper collection. Today I have made a cute candy bowl. This is PERFECT for using for your Halloween Candy and would make a great container for a fun gift for that someone spooktacularly special!
I did use the We R Memory Keepers Explosion Score Board to make this in the video, but I also show you how to make it with a regular score board as well.
In the video description I have all of the information for the cutting and the supplies with links to the products.
Hello, my crafty and spooky friends...welcome back to
#sandys13frightsbeforehalloween2022
!!!
I have a great treat today. I resurrected an old old old tutorial I did on this blog back in May of 2011! I created this card design for a swap I was in. I did a tutorial on the blog but never did a video...well here it is!! I can't wait for you to see it!
If you are interested in viewing the original blog post it's here...
I hope you enjoy the tutorial and my recreation of this amazing fold that makes a fantastic card and/or gift card holder. It can be used for so many occasions! Thanks so much for stopping by and have a fangtastic day!
This is a fun one! A lenticular picture has an image when you look at it one way, and a different one when you look at it the other way. It’s fun and easy!
I’m using “Bewitching Hour” from Country Craft Creations, http://countrycraftcreations.com! Check it out and let me know what you think. Have a great and spooky day, my friends!
Hi all, and welcome back! Today I have a fun project for my fellow Halloween Junkies. I wanted to make a sort of October Daily/Junk Journal and I'm using the magnificent collection by Country Craft Creations called "Midnight Manor". This collection is so beautiful, and made a great project. The best part is that this is so adaptable that you can make this project for any type of journal or notebook. Country Craft Creations has many different collections that would also work. So if you aren't a Halloween Junkie, and would like to make one for Fall, or Christmas, or whatever...check it out Country Craft Creations.
I used the "Lay Flat Method" for making the cover of the book. If you haven't seen this method, check out this tutorial I did here.
I use 5 Happy Planner Disks, in black, that are approximately 1 1/4" in diameter. Any disk for this type of notebook will work. I also used the We R Memory Keepers Disk Punch.
Below is a cut guide for the cardstock and chipboard needed for the project. I cut the patterned paper for inside the journal/on the pockets at 1/8" smaller. For specialty cuts, I include directions in the video.
Thanks so much for watching, and I'll see you soon with another tutorial.
COVER
Chipboard
2 - 7 x 9
1 - 2 x 9
Cardstock
2 - 9 x 11
1 - 5 x 11
1 - 6 x 8 7/8
MATTING FOR THE COVERS
The covers are 7 x 9. I triple matted the patterned paper for the front and back covers, but only single matted for the spine.
Silver Mirror
2 - 6 3/4 x 8 3/4
1 - 1 3/4 x 8 3/4
Antique Winter Gray, 2 - 6 1/2 x 8 1/2
Burgundy, 2 - 6 1/4 x 8 1/4 (Note, this paper is available but won't be for long, so if you need it you should order.)
Patterned Paper
2 - 6 x 8
1 - 1 1/2 x 8 1/2
INSIDE COVER POCKETS (Note: these are the same size but are scored and trimmed differently)
2 - 7 7/8 x 12
BINDING MECHANISM FOR DISKS
1 - 4 1/2 x 8 1/2
1 - 1 x 8 1/2
POCKETS
#1 1 - 11 x 12
#2 1 - 8 1/2 x 12
#3 1 - 10 x 12
That's it! The remaining inserts for this junk journal are up to your individual style! I did size this project to hold 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 papers, so one sheet of copy paper will make two pages for your journal.
The patterned papers, artisan cardstock, seambinding are all available at Country Craft Creations... Please check them out!
Have fun, and let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for watching!!
Here is another fun card that I made that is quick and easy and has a lot of wow!
I hope you like it, I know I did. Please also check out the other amazing creators who are involved with this fun project. I have them listed in the video description, but also there is a list below.
Have fun and stay scary, my friends!

Today I have a cute and quick project using my design team package from Country Craft Creations, https://countrycraftcreations.com. I'm using Carta Bella's "Hocus Pocus" and it is a fun paper collection! I was messing around with papers and stumbled upon this idea. It s full of room for pictures...great for a quick gift/brag book...and it only uses 2 sheets of cardstock to construct!
In the tutorial I have a visual aid on how to cut the cardstock to make the pieces needed. There is minimal waste of the cardstock. However, I will also list the measurements below. I also used 5 sheets of the patterned paper and one sheet of the coordinating cardstock. On the front I have one of the shaker bubbles and I used black pom pom trim to cover the edges. I will have links to all of the supplies used for this.
I hope you enjoy the tutorial...Stay spooky, my friends!
Cutting List for Cardstock: I list this in numbered pieces, because of the way I construct this project. Cut one of each piece, except for the pockets where you will cut two of two different sizes. Two of the pieces (#2 and #3) are the same size, but are scored differently.
This is a super fun card! You are going to love this!!
The effect is really different, unique, and sure to please!

OMGEEEEE!!! I'm late! I totally forgot to post the link to this tutorial! I can't believe I did that!
This is a fun album that you are going to love...and it includes A REAL 45 ALBUM!
I am using the fantastic collection available only at Country Craft Creations called Homer's Diner...It is AMAZING! This 1950's themed paper is going to make you so happy when you use it!
My inspiration was a memory I had of books made to hold 45's, and then the players to play them. I was fortunate to find one in a local antique mall, and used the album as the cover of this book. If you can't find a 45, I will share with you a couple of methods to make one out of cardstock.
Below is the cut list for this project. I hope you like it. If you have questions please let me know. Thanks so much for watching and I'll see you soon with more fun tutorials.
CUT LIST

Pink cardstock:
2 - 7 3/4 x 7 3/4
1 - 2 1/4 x 7 3/4

2 - 9 1/4 x 7 1/2
Inner set:
2 - 8 1/4 x 7 1/2
Pockets:
4 - 8 1/2 x 8
The cover decoration is a real 45 record. Its diameter is ~6 3/4"
The inner circles are:
Cardstock 3 3/4 diameter, patterned paper 3 1/2 in diameter
The needle arm is a piece of chipboard cut at 3/4" wide and approximately 5" long, and I'll explain how to make the angle in the tutorial
Inside front cover, vertical to horizontal waterfall...a version of this is also used in this tutorial I did in the past...https://youtu.be/cW5SUt9h-GE
Cardstock bases: 4 - 4 1/2 x 7
Coordinating cardstock and patterned paper to mat: cut 4 each- 4 1/4 x 6 3/4

I’m doing an amazing collaboration with 10 other creative people for a fun 13 week project. We are all going to share with you, every Monday, a new Halloween related project.
I have decided to do 13 weeks of fun cards. Some are cards I’ve designed, some are cards I have been wanting to learn how to make. By the end I’ll have made 26 cards! Some will be fun and kid friendly, some will be spooky. All will help bust my paper stash!

Come on in to my haunted craft room and have some fun. I have a list of the other participating designers with their YouTube channel links in the description of my video.
Good morning! Today I come to you with this little (ok BIG) offering. This is a design team project for Country Craft Creations, using Echo Park's "Let's Create" paper collection. As soon as I saw it I knew what I wanted to do with it. I am involved in a lot of projects and I needed a more organized (and pretty) way to do that. So, I came up with this. It's a great project because you can watch this video, then mix/match what you want to do with your planner/organizer. It's very versatile, and can be used for so many things.
Below is a cutting list and a supply list. Here's a little disclaimer...I was a little "off" today for some reason...there are a few bloopers but I tried really hard to put up warnings in case you are doing the project while watching it. As I go through the video I will give you paper sizes for cutting the patterned papers. In the cut list I am giving scoring information. I don't do that all of the time, but since I was a little goofy today I thought I would do it to help. Every effort has been made to make sure things are accurate. Please let me know if you have questions. Thanks so much for your support and I'll be back soon with more! The haul video I did for this paper collection is here...this shows how much paper I received.
