Do you want to see some really cool cards and ideas with envelopes?

Hey Y'all! I was playing with the new Card Fronts available exclusively at Country Craft Creations and I came up with some beautiful Mermaid cards and a fun album. The album started as cards, but I quickly reversed course and made an album instead using 5 envelopes and 4 card blanks. I mashed the Country Vow card blanks with the Cowgirl Way paper collection to make a fun and quick album.

We have introduced the Cowgirl Way collection and the Country Vow Card Fronts during our Rodeo Roundup Crop event. I have a playlist that includes all of the videos for that event (all with free tutorials!), and you can access that here. I give all of the information and measurements in this tutorial for the Country Vow Envelope Album. I didn't write them up here. It is easy, and if you have to make your own cards and envelopes, I give those sizes in the video. Thanks so much for watching, and I will be back soon with more fun things! If you would like to purchase these and other card fronts, check out this link. The Cowgirl Way Collection is here, Cowgirl Way Junk journal line is here. While you are at the store, don't forget your adhesives, cardstock, and chipboard...these are what I love to use: Art Glitter Glue Scor Tape Artisan Cardstock Heavy Weight Chipboard Light Weight Chipboard Here is my referral link, use it and I’ll earn points for crafting supplies so that I can share more tutorials! Country Craft Creations has an amazing store, so please visit the store here. We have an amazing Facebook Community as well, so please check it out.

It's been a minute...

I'm so sorry.  I am trying so hard to keep up on everything and lately it seems like my brain is scattered in 12 different directions and I don't know what I've done, or what I'm doing.  I need to do an update, so here it goes.  Thanks for your patience and sticking with me.  I'm sure you all have already seen these things...I know blogs are kinda the last thing people look at these days...but I do want to keep this going.  I hope you do too.

I'll list several videos that I have done...I do hope if you haven't seen them that you have some time check them out.

For these videos I will share some extra fun projects that I have done with my craft room and for the #paperstashsmash collaboration I am in.  I made a ton of fun things and got involved in a fun project making cards for Veterans.

Tomorrow I'll do a round up of the projects I have done for the Country Craft Creations design team I'm on.  I do hope you stop by and check them out.

Thanks for watching, and I will see you soon.  Stay crafty, my friends!

Gift /Card Box Tutorial, and More! Another Design Team Project for Country Craft Creations!

I have a new tutorial on my YouTube channel that I think you’re going to love. This is a great box that will not only hold.4 1/4” x 5 1/2” Greeting cards, but it is big enough to be a great gift box to hold all sorts of items.

This is a Country Craft Creations design team project using Photo Play’s Holly and Ivy collection. I had scraps left over that I wanted to use, and came up with some fun ways to use them as well as the leftover cutter parts.

I hope you enjoy it.  Please read the video description for information and a coupon code for shopping at Country Craft Creations!

Stay crafty, my friends!!!

Willow Creek Highlands Pop Up Card Tutorial, a Country Craft Creations Design Team Project

I'm baaaaack! I thought I would take the premise of my pop up album that I made with this collection (which you can see here if you missed it, https://youtu.be/JLdccqAX3dA?si=NbRFG8pLD1Xij3_w ) and make this fun card! I turned the mechanism sideways and then added a pocket to each side, filling it with tags and photo mats/journal cards). We will also discuss making an envelope for this to make a cute presentation if giving it as a gift.

It doesn't take much to make... Card Base 1 - 12 x 8 Mechanism 2 - 5 x 4 2 - 7 1/2 x 4 Belly Band 1 - 6 1/8 x 2 1 - 7 5/8 x 2 Envelope 1 - 11 7x8 x 11 7x8, I used my score board that does the box envelopes. They have a 3/8" gusset. If you don't have one, start your scoring/punching at 5 1/4, then make scores on the other side at 3/8 to create the gusset. I used what scraps I had and I'll show you what I did to stretch them. I hope you like it, it is fun and easy to make. Here are the products used, all from Country Craft Creations Photoplay Willow Creek Highlands https://www.countrycraftcreations.com... My Colors Cardstock (Aquatint and Wildflower Honey) https://www.countrycraftcreations.com... Jute (red) https://www.countrycraftcreations.com... Ribbon https://www.countrycraftcreations.com... White Artisan Cardstock https://www.countrycraftcreations.com... Magnet, https://www.countrycraftcreations.com/products/basic-grey-large-magnet For the prototype I share I used Country Craft Creations exclusive papers "Bloom Where You're Planted" https://www.countrycraftcreations.com/products/country-craft-creations-bloom-where-your-planted-8x8-28-sheets-cotton-bristol and Gold Glamour Cardstock, https://www.countrycraftcreations.com/search?type=product&q=Glamour* I also added a little seam binding, https://www.countrycraftcreations.com/products/seam-binding-by-the-yard The Tag dies are not available anymore at Country Craft Creations but they were. Heartfelt Creations "Album Tags and Accents". The other die used was from my stash and measures 3 3/4 x 2 3/4.

Graduate Cap Card Box Tutorial

This is a fun project that was suggested by one of my crafty friends, Heather.  She needed a card box and this is what I came up with.  It's quite easy to make and adaptable to any occasion you may need a card box for.

It's 8x8x8 and the slot is 7x1.  It's plenty big, and the lid is removable for easy access after your party.

I hope you enjoy the video and have fun making it!

Stay crafty, my friends!

Love Letters Double Hidden Flap Never Ending Album Tutorial

Hi all and welcome. I have a design team project for Country Craft Creations
that I think you will like.

This project is a variation of the hidden flap card design that has been everywhere in the crafty universe. I was playing with the design and came up with this idea. It can be made as a single "folio" with one assembly, or can be combined into this assembly of 3 "folios" which creates a never ending type of album. I hope you like it. I also will share with you a bonus rosette tutorial, it's a fun and different way to make one.

There is a cut guide for the cardstock and links to the items used in the tutorial if you look in the description of the video.

There is also a bonus in that I share how to make the fun rosette on the front...it is a different way to make one and I absolutely love how it turned out.

In case you missed the walk through video, that is posted below.

Thanks for watching and have a crafty day!

Triple Squash Explosion Card Tutorial, a Country Craft Creations Design Team Project

Today in this video we are making this fun card with Heartfelt Creations "Friendship Roses" collection and Country Craft Creations "Snowman and Friends" collection. This is fun project and I'll also show you how to make two types of envelopes to go with it.

You don't need an explosion scoreboard for this, we can make it with a regular scoreboard. I also use the envelope punch board. Everything else is "basic" supplies. The cards with envelopes require 4 sheets of cardstock. If you use 12 x 12 patterned paper, it requires 4 sheets, and for 8 x 8 paper it takes 7 sheets. Below is a cutting list and also links to the products I used. I hope you enjoy it! For envelopes using the envelope scoreboard, cut cardstock at 9 7/8 x 9 7/8 For envelopes using the regular scoreboard, cardstock is 12 x 12 Cardstock for the cards: Base 1 - 10 x 7 Sides 2 - 3 x 7 Main Squash, 1 - 6 x 6 Smaller Squash, 2 - 5 1/4 x 5 1/4 I cut pieces to write sentiments...(Optional, watch the video for explanation) For the side piece, 1 - 2 x 6 For the back piece, 1 - 4 1/2 x 3 1/2 For the patterned paper: Base 4 - 4 7/8 x 6 7/8 Sides 4 - 2 3/8 x 6 7/8 For the main Squash: Squares: 2 - 2 7/8 x 2 7/8 Triangles: 2 - 2 3/4 x 2 3/4 For the smaller squash: Squares: 2 - 2 1/2 Triangles: 2 - 2 3/8 x 2 3/8 Seambinding for closure, 2 - 12-14" long

Heartfelt Creations Dies Tag Die Pocket Die, this is currently sold out, I'm sorry, but please keep checking back. I always try to make sure that everything I do in my tutorials and in my details are accurate. If you have any questions please let me know. I'm always happy to help. Have a crafty day.

Cards for the Grandkids

I just wanted to share the cards I have recently made for my grandkids.  All three girls had their birthdays, and turned two years old!  I made princess cards (for my "Princess Posse").  They are all files I bought from Silhouette.  I love that machine!!!  Casey loves Minnie Mouse, so I tried to incorporate her into the card.  It is a variation of a box card, and the castle is 3D!
Folded up, it looks like this.
On the back I put a large picture of Minnie.  I think it turned out great!
The twins are also turning two years old, and I wanted to make them another castle card, but theirs is different.  I made the pencil card for their brother.  They all live in Colorado, and when I send one a present, they all get presents, so since he had just started first grade I made this pencil card for him.
 These are also Silhouette files.
Thanks for looking, and have a wonderful day, and don't forget to stay crafty!

A Wedding Card

I created this card for two dear friends who recently got married.  I used my new Silhouette Cameo to make it.  I purchased the card and the "Mr and Mrs".  I created an envelope using my WRMK envelope punch board.

I used the negative piece from the dress to decorate the envelope on the inside of the card.  I made the envelope so that I could put a gift card in it.

On the outside of the envelope I punched a heart and added it to the flap for a little more decoration.
Here are the punches I used for this project.  I think the card turned out really beautiful.

Stay crafty, my friends.

Announcements!!!

Well, I have two announcements for you!!

First, I still have a surprise for you all, and it is going to be soooooo COOL!!
It was going to start today, but the Sassy 6 needed some time to get it ready, so we are shooting for sthe 20th!!
What is it?
I can't tell you yet, that would spoil the surprise!
But, we should be ready to show you what we are all excited about starting on the 20th!
Be ready, be prepared, it will be AWESOME!!

Here's the second announcement, an invitation type announcement!
I found these Sizzix dies at the craft store, and I had to get them!  They are supposed to make a mini album, but I thought that they would make a unique mini album for some shower invitations I was making.

Stage one, cutting all of the pieces.  My invites were 4 panels long, so with all of the pieces, it meant 12 different pieces per invite.  I made 20 of them.
Assembly.  You have to assemble all of the panels before you adhere them to each other.  I printed the information on white pieces, then cut them out using a Spellbinders die that fit perfectly into the gray square cut out with the second die I used.
Here is what it looks like all adhered.  I blurred out the information, sorry.  I also failed to get a picture of the cute front of the card.  It had a stamp with an elephant on it, that I colored yellow.  (Her colors for her baby shower are yellow and gray).  Around the elephant said "Sweet Baby".
They all folded up nicely, then I had to create envelopes using my We R Memory Keepers envelope maker, the cards were about 4 3/4" x 4 3/4" square.  You can see the Spellbinders die under the edge of the box.
We R Memory Keepers also has washi tape sheets out, I used them to punch hearts with a yellow design to close the envelopes.

So, that's that for today.  Here's a list of the supplies that I used.

Cardstock:  Bazzill and AC
Ink:  Memento
Stamp:  Fiskars
Dies:  Sizzix and Spellbinders
Pens:  Chromatix
Envelope and Washi Tape Sheet:  We R Memory Keepers
Punch:  Unknown

DON'T FORGET TO CHECK BACK ON THE 20TH!!!

Stay Crafty, My Friends!
