Today I have a video share for you. I made this gorgeous junk journal with a template by Bohemian Crafting (on YouTube), it turned out amazing. Papers are printable images are by Daisy Journal Co. that I've had for a while, and finally used! I'm so happy with how this turned out. Let me know what you think. Lots of info and details in the video's description. Have a fabulous Saturday!
In my first tutorial I made a true junk journal with flat shopping bags as the base. In that video I show how to convert these bags into an album base. This is the link to the original video,

I love this project. I used up a bunch of ephemera paper packs that have been in my stash for YEARS! I got them from a store that hasn’t been in business in a very long time (and I’m sad about it) and finally decided enough was enough and I needed to use it or lose it.
Pamphlet Junk Journals

This is a fun project, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. They are perfect little journals and I found some amazing bits in these packages!! Wait till you see it!
Today I have a junk journal video featuring a new-to-me brad binding and some more fun ephemera making. I hope you visit and enjoy! At the end of the video I also have a quick tutorial on tweaking the size of a faux whale tale tab.
I’ve been playing with junk journals again and made these fun things using ideas and tutorials from a lot of amazing creators out there. I have a video to share them and links to their sites for more information.
And here’s a teaser…I used a lot of them in an upcoming project!
Here it is, thanks for being patient! I finally have made the tutorial for my Junk Portfolio. This is made from 4 grocery bags and it is loaded with pages and pockets and possibilities. The bags I used were 12” wide, 10 1/2 tall and the bottoms are 6 3/4.
I have used Tim Holtz papers for this version, along with a lot of fun ephemera and goodies that I have made in the past and kept for just the right project to use them with.
The full walk through of my first portfolio is here ...
Thanks for watching and I hope you have fun making one for yourself!!!
She did this as part of her craft fair series. I was super intrigued by these and had to make one.
Then I made a bigger sized one.
Then I made a do-si-do version.
I really hope you like these! I was able to smash the rest of my Photo Play "Fright Night" paper collection. I had used it for a prototype project, and had some left over that I used up for these.
Thanks so much for watching. Please check out her tutorial, the binding is fantastic. I hadn't seen that before!
If you want to make the bigger size one like I did, here are the measurements and scoring...
For each journal the large pages were 12 x 7 1/2, score on the 12 at 5 1/2, 6, 6 1/2. Make two
For the mini page, it was 12 x 4 1/2, score the same as the large page
For the pocket page, 11 x 9 1/2. Score on the 11 at 5 1/2, score on the 9 1/2 at 2 (on the bottom)
The spine is 2 x 7 1/2
The tag I cut at 4 1/2 x 7 1/4
Then I just went to town decorating!
Stay crafty, my friends
Please come and see how I used the Library Pockets from Envelopes...and a bunch of other things I have made to go into this amazing Junk Portfolio I made from grocery bags!!! I love love love how it turned out and I can't wait for you to see it!

Hi all!!!
This project was purely a whimsical idea that I needed to try. I had a few pages left over from this amazing collection and I decided to make a quick and easy project that smashed the paper pack. This is a quick pamphlet booklet type project that was whipped up in less than an hour and makes a cute gift or a great addition to your recipe book collection.
You just need a few pages, I used 8x8 sheets of patterned paper and some scraps to make pockets. I used a couple of items from my stash also.
I hope this is something you will try! Please visit Country Craft Creations at https://countrycraftcreations.com for this and many more exclusive to Country Craft Creations paper collections. There is something there you will love, believe me!!!
Thanks for watching!
There is a great tutorial by Steph Howells of Hilltop View Journals that I just had to try. It is on a very easy method to make these GORGEOUS and interactive hidden paper clips. The tutorial is here... https://youtu.be/z4X64uYwTcE?si=cOCXMc5Zw57D4-tQ
Please go and check out my video and then check out her video to see how to make them. You will be addicted!
Once again, I have fallen a little behind on the blog...but here is an update to what I have been up to.
This is my latest video. It will be in parts, and it is using the magnificent collection, "Bountiful Blessings" from Country Craft Creations. It's actually a remake of an old album I made before I was a designer for them. I have updated it and revised it and I think it will be better than ever! There is a lot of information in this video's description, so check it out and stay tuned because I have more on this one on the way.
This is a quick video on a project I made on a whim. I raided my supplies and used a Dollar Tree heart shaped wand with a wooden spool and created this beauty! Spooky, isn't it??
Here's an idea for a Halloween Treat Box that is quick and easy to make...check out how you can use up some scraps and make a fun little goodie container.
Then I have this video with a tutorial as well. I used two separate kits from Your Creative Studio. I altered an old 7 Gypsies notebook and then did a tutorial on my never ending album with some amazing tropical papers.
