I have to do another catch up post because I just flat didn't do a blog post. I'm so sorry! It's been busy, but here we are and it's
HALLOWEEN!
So Trick or Treat and here's what I've been up to.
First up, I did a design team project for Country Craft Creations. This is a great explosion gift box using the We R Memory Keepers Explosion Scoreboard. The papers are from Echo Park and are called "Fall Fever". The papers and the scoreboard are both available at Country Craft Creations.
I also used the papers to make this fun flip album using envelopes. This turned out so cool!
I received another amazing box from Amanda at Your Creative Studio. This one is vintage camera and it is AMAZING! This is the unboxing, and the new junk journal tutorial is coming soon!
I had this project waiting in the wings for a while. It's a great way to use scraps...I made this cute Meander book and scraps from previous design team packages.
These projects are shares of some amazing little tutorials from other great creators out there. There are two new little projects, and links to the other creators are in the video descriptions.
I also did a recap of the projects I made for #sandys13frightsbeforehalloween2022. These cards look so amazing on my haunted desk.
Thanks for watching, and I'll see you soon with other projects.
This is a design team project for Country Craft Creations using Carta Bella's "Hocus Pocus" paper collection. Today I have made a cute candy bowl. This is PERFECT for using for your Halloween Candy and would make a great container for a fun gift for that someone spooktacularly special!
I did use the We R Memory Keepers Explosion Score Board to make this in the video, but I also show you how to make it with a regular score board as well.
In the video description I have all of the information for the cutting and the supplies with links to the products.
Welcome back! I have a fun new idea combining a shaker element with an explosion gift box for you today.
This is a design team project for Country Craft Creations, and I'm using their exclusive collections "Love You Forever" and "Our Graduate". These, and more exclusive collections are available at Country Craft Creations.
Hi all...This is a quick tutorial on how I used my Explosion Scoreboard to make 7 different sized boxes, using the same size piece of cardstock.
Actually, when you click the link in the video description, I also figured out more...21 sizes of gift boxes in all, square based and rectangular based. I had done this around Christmas but just now finished writing up the chart. (My new Fur Ever Friends Mini Album Tutorial will be finished uploading soon...so while we wait for that...)
I came up with another idea using my We R Memory Keepers Explosion Scoreboard! This is a fun new idea, and would be great in any papers you wanted, it would make a great small gift box!
This is the tutorial for the very simplified December Daily Explosion Box Idea that I shared a couple of days ago. If you are interested in seeing that version, the video is here...
From my stash I used one eyelet and some tinsel trim. I also inked the patterned papers with Distress ink by Tim Holtz, in Vintage Photo. I also used a small piece of chipboard for the star on the lid.
For the box you will need one cardstock at 12 x 12 and for the lid, one piece 6 1/2 x 6 1/2
The pockets are made from 4 pieces of cardstock at 8 3/4 x 2 1/2. These are made from black cardstock.
The tags are 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 and are made from Green, Red and Pearl Sheen Natural. You will need 8 of each.
The center trifold is made from a piece that is 11 1/4 x 3 3/4 (black cardstock) with red cardstock mats that are 3 5/8 x 3 5/8, you will need 4 of these.
Thanks so much for watching and stay tuned for more fun tutorials coming soon!!
I have a new tutorial I designed for Country Craft Creations. This tutorial uses the We R Memory Keepers Explosion Board and the Echo Park "Winter" paper collection. I hope you like it! It's a fun cross between an explosion box mini album, gift box and decor piece.
I am using a great variety of products from Country Craft Creations, including lace, and embellishments as well. The links for the products are below. I hope you check them out, they are AMAZING! Country Craft Creations is amazing...check out all of their products here: https://countrycraftcreations.com
This project uses 4 sheets of 12 x 12 Artisan cardstock in White, two in Pearl Sheen White, and three sheets of Black. I only used 5 sheets of patterned paper for this project, however you can decorate it with however many patterns you want.
Below is a cutting list for the project. Please don't cut your patterned papers yet, as I will explain what part of the boxes and lids to cover in the video...SOME OF THE SURFACES ARE NOT COVERED WITH PATTERNED PAPER.
XXL BOX: (Box is white cardstock)
Box: 1 - 12 x 12
Patterned paper for Box: Squares are 3 7/8 x 3 7/8, the triangles are cut from squares that are 2 5/8 x 2 5/8
Lid: 1 - 6 1/2 x 6 1/2 (lid is Pearl Sheen White cardstock)
Patterned paper for Lid: Square is 4 1/8 x 4 1/8 and the sides are 4 - 4 1/8 x 1
XL BOX: (Box is white cardstock)
Box: 1 - 11 x 11
Patterned paper for Box: Squares are 3 5/8 x 3 5/8, and the triangles are cut from squares that are 2 3/8 x 2 3/8
Lid: 1 - 6 1/4 x 6 1/4 (Lid is Pearl Sheen White cardstock)
Patterned paper for lid: square is 3 7/8 x 3 7/8 and the sides are 4 - 3 7/8 x 1
L BOX: (Box is white Cardstock)
Box: 1 - 10 x 10
Patterned paper for Box: Squares are 3 1/4 x 3 1/4, and the triangles are cut from squares that are 2 1/4 x 2 1/4
Lid: 1 - 5 7/8 x 5 7/8 (this is cut from black cardstock)
Patterned paper for lid: 1 - 3 1/2 x 3 1/2, and the sides 4 - 3 1/2 x 1
"TOP HAT" gift box (cut from black cardstock)
1 - 7 x 7
1 - 6 7/8 x 6 7/8
Patterned paper for squares 2 1/8 x 2 1/8
And now for the measurements of the cardstock you would need for the "new" form of gift box that you can make. These will made a completely enclosed gift box, just like I created with the top hat!
XXL: 1 - 12 x 12 and 1 - 11 7/8 x 11 7/8
XL: 1 - 11 x 11 and 1 - 10 7/8 x 10 7/8
L: 1 - 10 x 10 and 1 - 9 7/8 x 9 7/8
M: 1 - 9 x 9 and 1 - 8 7/8 x 8 7/8
S: 1 - 8 x 8 and 1 - 7 7/8 x 7 7/8
XS: 1 - 7 x 7 and 1 - 6 7/8 x 6 7/8
XXS: 1 - 6 x 6 and 1 - 5 7/8 x 5 7/8

PHEW! I think that's it...thank you for watching! Have fun!!!
Here it is...the tutorial for my newest explosion album that's also a gift box! I am using the exclusive collection "Gentlemen Fleur" for this tutorial and it is only available at Country Craft Creations. Please go check out the store for this and so many other paper crafting supplies, including a huge assortment of design paper that you will not find anywhere else...(Wait til you see what I got for Halloween and Christmas!)
I am using the We R Memory Keepers Explosion Board for this tutorial, HOWEVER, I know it is very very hard to find and so I am giving all measurements so that you can also use a conventional scoreboard if you don't have the explosion board. I love the explosion board, because it really takes a lot of work out of making these boxes, but it can be done super easily with my measurements I give in the tutorial.
I hope you have fun with it, and stay crafty! Have a great weekend!
I made this awesome project because one of my amazing followers asked me to create it. A while ago I did a tutorial for a Tall Explosion Gift Box...
She asked me if I could make it into an album. I did it and the tutorial will be coming very soon...this weekend in fact!
I created a gift box/album that is 6" tall, and 4" square. It is a fun project to do and I think you will like it. I am using the exclusive collection only available from Country Craft Creations called "Gentlemen Fleur". It is a gorgeous collection and it made a great gift item!
I did use my We R Memory Keepers Explosion Board to make the project, BUT...I will also give you the directions to make one using a conventional score board. I know these boards are hard to find so I will help you so that you can make one whether you have one or not!
Please go check out the walk through and check out the store. I'll be back soon to let you know when the tutorial is posted.
I have another project using the We R Memory Keepers Explosion Scoreboard that I think you’ll like. I’m working on my next tutorial for my Country Craft Creations design team and thought I’d share this until I get those next ones finished. I hope you like it!
While I’m working on my next design team tutorial for Country Craft Creations I thought I’d share this. I had scraps leftover from a previous design team package that I used to decorate this new box project that I used the Explosion scoreboard to make. If you don’t have the scoreboard the only things you need to change are: score the 12x12 at 4” on all 4 sides and score the sides at 2” on all 4 sides.
The other day I wanted to figure out how to make a rectangular box using the We Are Memory Keepers Explosion Score Board, and I did. I figured out all 7 sizes and I did a tutorial that showed how to make them and what do do. It is a great project, and I can see it being a great sized gift box and a card all in one! The video is here.
But then, I had an idea, and used the same principles but made a gift box/album. The difference with this one is that I did it in such a way so that you can use the explosion board AND I give directions for use with a conventional score board. It also has more room between the boxes so that you can add more embellishments or elements on the pages.
I used the exclusive patterned paper collection "Tea In Wonderland" from Country Craft Creations. This paper collection is AMAZING! It is beautiful and girlie and full of enchantment all at once. You will love it!
I give all cutting lists and dimensions for the boxes and lids in both tutorial's descriptions.
Thanks for watching. I really appreciate your support.
Welcome to my design team tutorial using the new Country Bunny paper collection and the new 100 lb Artisan cardstock exclusively sold at Country Craft Creations.
Today I am making this quick and cute basket project which also uses the We Are Memory Keepers Explosion board. I love this project, as it is so versatile and can be used with all kinds of different papers. This project is a decor piece, it IS NOT STURDY enough for children to go Easter egg hunting. It is also paper, and flammable, so I did use a battery operated candle in it, NOT A REAL CANDLE!
All you need to make this project are two pieces of 12 x 12 cardstock, 2 pieces of 12 x 12 patterned paper and embellishments of choice. I hope you like it and have fun with it. I will be back soon with more projects to share with you!
Check out the video below and have fun creating!!!
Stay crafty,
Michelle

Today I am sharing a desk organizer that I made using my We Are Memory Keepers Explosion Board!
This is a fun project and it's easy and it's customizable!!! I used papers by Prima that I received in a Mystery Box, and also the Kraft Cardstock, both from Country Craft Creations. The Explosion Boards are ordered and will be in the store soon.
This project would be super cute in your office, your kitchen, your craft room, anywhere you need a little organization. There is also an optional "tray" that you can make to put it it, which expands the organization even more.
I used 6 sheets of cardstock and 8 sheets of patterned paper to make this, so it really doesn't take much. After watching you will be able to make any configuration you want!
Thanks for watching, and stay crafty!

I have a new tutorial on YouTube using the We Are Memory Keepers Explosion Board. This is as part of the design team for Country Craft Creations. If you haven't joined the Facebook group "Scrapbookers of Country Craft Creations" you should, it is amazing!! Tamra, our leader and owner of Country Craft Creations, and all of the designers are so very talented. All tutorials are free and they are varied. No matter what kind of paper crafting you do, you will definitely find something for you there.
In this tutorial I am making three different kinds of cards and also making card boxes. There are different sizes of boxes to house cards for giving as a gift, and also sizes that could house lots of cards if you are making them for swaps. By request I also made a lid with an acetate window.
The Explosion Board will be in the Country Craft Creations store very soon. It is a second order, the first batch sold out! Please check out the shop and get one for your own, you will love this tool.
Hi Everyone! I'm back with another tutorial using the Explosion Box Scoreboard from We are Memory Keepers.
This is a design team project for Country Craft Creations, featuring this wonderful scoreboard. The board will be available in the store, Country Craft Creations soon...please keep checking the site, it is on the way again (It sold out the first round!!!)
I have created some different types of gift boxes for you today, ranging from an 8 x 8 x 2" box to a "pizza style" gift box with inside dividers. There are several different ideas in this video, please check it all out. I am currently working on two more videos with even more ideas to create even more things with this scoreboard. I am OBSESSED! The patterned paper was from my stash, and I used up scraps as well! I hope you enjoy the video, have fun and let me know if you have any questions!
I did another tutorial on an idea I had using the explosion board. (There are more to come also!!). I'll show you how to put together this album and box in this tutorial, I hope you enjoy!!
I am using Echo Park's "Remember the Magic" papers along with Artisan cardstock from Country Craft Creations. It uses the We Are Memory Keepers Explosion Box Scoreboard, also available through Country Craft Creations. This is a super fun and easy project and will be such a cute gift for someone!
