Country Craft Creations Bonus Design Team Project, Roll With It Recipe Album Tutorial

Hi all and welcome back! I have a project that has taken a while to do but so worth it. I created a recipe album with Carta Bella's "Roll With It" collection and you are going to love it. I made it big and it is full of pockets so that you can add memories, pictures, recipes...it will be a keepsake for your family for many many years to come.

This album is 7 3/4 x 8 1/2, has a 3 1/2" spine, and has 6 pages total. There is plenty of room to add many photos and recipes. In the video's description box I will have a list of videos I mention in the tutorial, a cut guide for chipboard and cardstock (the measurements for the patterned papers will be discussed in the tutorial), and links to products that I used for the project. Thanks so much for watching!!! If you have any questions please let me know because I am always available to help if you needed it.

Stay crafty, my friends!

I'VE BEEN BUSY!!

I'm so sorry, I have another catch up video.  I don't know where the time goes!  I have been so busy with design team projects and with craft fairs, and with work...I just don't have enough time in the day!

Here's the latest videos I have done.  I have a #craftygoals2024 video for May, two recipe projects, a video on what I did with the button dangles I have recently been obsessed with, and two shares of a design team package and a Virtual Retreat Package!

I hope you enjoy the videos and forgive me for being "late" for posting them.

Stay crafty, my friends!

I have some updating to do...

Once again, I have fallen a little behind on the blog...but here is an update to what I have been up to.

This is my latest video.    It will be in parts, and it is using the magnificent collection, "Bountiful Blessings" from Country Craft Creations.  It's actually a remake of an old album I made before I was a designer for them.  I have updated it and revised it and I think it will be better than ever!  There is a lot of information in this video's description, so check it out and stay tuned because I have more on this one on the way.

This is a quick video on a project I made on a whim.  I raided my supplies and used a Dollar Tree heart shaped wand with a wooden spool and created this beauty!  Spooky, isn't it??

Here's an idea for a Halloween Treat Box that is quick and easy to make...check out how you can use up some scraps and make a fun little goodie container.

Then I have this video with a tutorial as well.  I used two separate kits from Your Creative Studio.  I altered an old 7 Gypsies notebook and then did a tutorial on my never ending album with some amazing tropical papers.

I hope you enjoy these videos!!

Stay crafty, my friends!!

Hi all and welcome to my blog. I'm using a lovely collection exclusive to Country Craft Creations. Ooh-La-La Patissierie is a collection for the baker in all of us. I made this fun configuration album and it hold so many recipe cards and has a lot of room for photos.

In the videos description I have for you a cut guide for the project. There are also links to most of the products and some supplies I used. Some of the embellishments are from past design team projects and may not be available, but I did put a generic link so that you may get something similar from the store.

Thanks again for watching and for your support!

Cookies, Cakes and Pie, OH MY!

Good morning!

I have been so busy in my craft room!  I am working on two projects right now for the Country Craft Creations Design Team and there is a flurry of activity in my craft room.  I will be able to show you those projects real soon, but in the meantime I wanted to share this lovely album.
This is a wonderful tutorial done by Tamra of Country Craft Creations, and it is her "Spring Farmhouse Tutorial".  You can find this album here.  This is the link to part 2.   I love it and plan on making more with this style. It is super cute and fun to create.
I used Authentique's "Infused" paper pad.  I found it at Tuesday Morning, and it is still in the done I frequent.

Head on over to my YouTube and check out my slideshow showing all of the goodies this album has!  Then check out Tamra's tutorial and make one for yourself!!

Have a Crafty Day!

Some Simple Recipe Albums

I wanted to share a quick and easy project that I did.  I was at Tuesday morning and found the inserts for the recipe album that was put out by Project Life.  I picked up two of them, came home and went through my stash.
For this book I used some chipboard left over from a Heidi Swapp album set that I had and it fit perfectly.
I covered the board and went through my stash of flowers and bling and made a pretty cover.  I punched holes for binder rings.
I used a 4x6 card to create a pocket on the inside front cover.
It is going to be a great recipe album!
At the end of the book I created a pocket page.
It turned out lovely! I bought two inserts, so I made a second album.  This time I used chipboard and created my own cover.
I love how the embellishments turned out on the cover.

This time I didn't make a pocket on the front inside cover.
I did create a pocket page.
Thanks for looking!  This was a simple but fun project to do.

Stay tuned for more projects and projects for my new endeavor into the design team for Country Craft Creations!  I have lots of ideas and can't wait to share them!

Stay crafty!

Tutorial available for my "Page configurations"!

Page configurations?  You may be wondering what that is.  I did another take on my "Tall Skinny Mini Album" and my "Short Chunky Mini Album" to create yet another mini where pages range from 4 1/4" to 7 1/2" wide and are 7 1/2" tall.  My tutorial shows 20 different pages to make, just using one 12x12" piece of card stock, a scoreboard, scissors and some adhesive.

The cover to this album is 8x8", and the spine is 3" wide.

Here is a link to the slideshow I made to show the pages of a finished album using my "Page Configurations".

Here is a picture of the album itself...

Here is a link to the tutorial on YouTube.  This is the first tutorial, the next one will show exactly how I attached the 20 pages together to make the 5 "Page Sets" used in the album. The "page sets" provide a variety of pockets, flips and flaps that will make this the most interactive album ever!  I will post that link when I am able to get it done.

Happy Crafting, my Friends!

"Kiss the Cook" Recipe/Album

Good morning!  I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.  I know I did!  Although I have been sick with my 2nd cold of the year (I know, right???) I have been able to spend a little time working on this project.  This album is AMAZING!!!  It is not my creation, but from a tutorial from Tamra Kilgore-Merrill's Country Kitchen Album on YouTube.  You can find her channel here.  It is so cool, and the spine is THE BEST!

Check this out...It is flexible and expandable and rounded and BEAUTIFUL!

This is a picture heavy post, so I will just show you some beautiful pages and then give you a list of the supplies I used.  I love, love LOVE how this album turned out, and I can't wait to do it again!  It used a lot of paper, but is so worth it.  Head on over to her YouTube and check out her tutorials, she is  an amazing crafter!!

There are lots of flaps and flips and pockets in this album.  These pictures show just one page assembly.

I love her use of the papers, using "color blocking" in the pages to use all of the paper you can!  I had a very small 4x4" bag of scraps left over from the collections I used.

This can hold pictures and recipes.  I forget how many recipe cards are included, but there is a bunch.

Every page is different...Love that!

She showed how to use the "cut aparts" in a paper collection to create pockets for pages.  I never thought of keeping some of them together to use as a pocket.  Clever!

The next two pictures show a page assembly.  I love how you can put pictures here and then...

The flaps open up to hide more recipe cards.

Isn't this album yummy?  The next pictures show a fold out that she created.  These will be awesome for small pictures to be added.  I also love the back inside cover, a lovely pocket.

That's it for today.    Here are the supplies I used for this album.

Design:  Country Kitchen Album.  Tamra of Country Craft Creations.  See the YouTube tutorials.  Her page is here.

Papers:  Paper Accents, Echo Park ("Happiness is Homemade"), Paper Loft ("Home Cookin'")
Stickers:  Echo Park
Scoretape/Scotch Tacky Glue
Chipboard

Don't forget to have a crafty day!

Recipe Books

Hi all!  I just wanted to share with you the recipe books I made from a kit I bought from the Creating Keepsakes convention.  It is super cute, and was super easy to put together.  I know what you are thinking, I have enough recipe books.  But really, this girl can not have too many!!
 There are 4 dividers.
Each section has three recipe card holders.  They were originally 3 sections tall.  You were instructed to cut off one section to make it fit into the album.  I'll show you what I did with those at the end of the post.
 Cute!
 Love it!
My favorite section of any recipe book!
I had leftover papers, so I decided to make a mini recipe book.  I had 12 of the dividers that I cut off, so I just put them into a mini book.
I could theme this, or fill it with my favorite recipes and give it to a friend or relative.  It's simple but very cute.  It could hold 24 recipes, or even 12 recipes with photos of the food item!

Stay crafty, my friends!!!
