I had a few leftovers and wanted to see what I could do with them. I hate wasting paper, so I raided my stash of Country Craft Creations supplies and came up with this little gem. I used Graphic 45 tags, cut them to fit the leftovers I had, and came up with this. I hope it inspires you to use up your leftovers too! This isn't a true tutorial, but I tell you how I did it and what the measurements are...it will give you ideas to make your own little masterpiece!

I started by having an idea for a tag shaped photo album...
Then I decided to see how many ways I could incorporate tag shaped features...

I have been wanting to make one of these for a very long time! I bought this recipe book solely for this purpose, but truth be known, I actually have a copy of it in my recipe collection too!
I used a bunch of random bits and pieces I have had in my stash for a while, and combined them with items that are newer from Country Craft Creations and from Your Creative Studio.
Good morning...I have been awake since 2 am, and because of that you all get a tutorial I wasn't originally planning on posting today. But, what else are you supposed to do when you can't sleep?
This is my take on a loaded envelope or loaded pocket. I'm using Carta Bella's "White Christmas" paper collection from Country Craft Creations. You can find it here.

Today I have a cute and quick project using my design team package from Country Craft Creations, https://countrycraftcreations.com. I'm using Carta Bella's "Hocus Pocus" and it is a fun paper collection! I was messing around with papers and stumbled upon this idea. It s full of room for pictures...great for a quick gift/brag book...and it only uses 2 sheets of cardstock to construct!
In the tutorial I have a visual aid on how to cut the cardstock to make the pieces needed. There is minimal waste of the cardstock. However, I will also list the measurements below. I also used 5 sheets of the patterned paper and one sheet of the coordinating cardstock. On the front I have one of the shaker bubbles and I used black pom pom trim to cover the edges. I will have links to all of the supplies used for this.

Cutting List for Cardstock: I list this in numbered pieces, because of the way I construct this project. Cut one of each piece, except for the pockets where you will cut two of two different sizes. Two of the pieces (#2 and #3) are the same size, but are scored differently.
I have another tutorial, a design team project for Country Craft Creations, using Carta Bella’s Farmhouse Summer paper collection. This is a fun collection and I know you will love it!
This album is a meander style album but I added a little bit more paper to make it a little bigger. It’s perfect for using up scraps or the 6x6 paper pad that I received with this collection. I also used Artisan Cardstock and seam binding from Country Craft Creations.
I have another video tutorial using the Explosion Board...today we make tall gift boxes in two ways. I am using a variety of papers from Country Craft Creations, including the exclusive Country Bunny papers. I hope you enjoy this project!

Here is a cutting list. I did not do a cutting guide (visual) since there aren't too many pieces. To complete this project you will need:
5 sheets of cardstock, 12 x 12. I used the 100 lb Artisan (white) for the base, and Summer Ivory and Baby Blue for the elements. You do not have to use the different colors at all, I just wanted to. I used approximately 6 pieces of patterned paper, which included one full 3 x 4" cut apart sheet. I used several yards of seam binding for the closures throughout the album. I made tags out of leftover cardstock and used eyelets for those. I also used Graphic 45 Artist Trading Card sized tags that came in the design team package.

This is the first design team project I am doing for Country Craft Creations using the Carta Bella "Summer" paper collection. I was totally inspired by the berry baskets this papers design, and I think you will love how I created the pages. With a few strategic scores and cuts, I was able to make 5 different pages out of a single way to score and cut a 12x12 piece of cardstock.
Along with the paper collection (which included patterned papers, coordinating cardstock, stickers and ephemera), I used Artisan Cardstock (White, Baby Blue, Summer Ivory, and scraps of Red and Dark Green), Art Glitter Glue, Score Tape sheets, Chipboard, seam binding, Graphic 45 Artist Trading Card sized tags, acetate, and Doo Dadz, all from Country Craft Creations. This year I have created a Christmas Card Keeper. It's not really a mini album, it is more of a storage binder. It will fit all sizes of cards and photo cards and letters. It has a variety of pockets and a fun type of page that is has a string binding integrated into it.

Welcome to my blog and to my third design team project for Country Craft Creations using Carta Bella's "Hello Autumn" paper collection!!! This is a super fun and fast project! I didn't have a lot of leftovers in the design team package, so I utilized what I had and made these. I was able to use SCRAPS of patterned paper and only 1 1/2 sheets of brown Artisan cardstock (not including the leaves...I will talk about other options in the video). There are so many options with this project, I know you will love it.
For each box, I used:
Cardstock, 1 at 6 x 6
Patterned paper, out of a 6 x 6 square you can get the needed pieces, 4 squares of one design for the outside, 5 of a second design for the inside, all of them are 1 7/8 x 1 7/8. I used scraps of leftover cardstock from my stash to make the leaves...but you can use other things, I mention options in the video.
I also used for each box:
1 yard of twine, 1 button, 2 flowers, 3 small leaves
One sheet of Artisan cardstock and one sheet of patterned paper will make 4 boxes total. Decorations and embellishments are totally up to you!

In total I used 8 sheets of Ivory cardstock, 2 sheets of brown cardstock, and 11-12 sheets of patterned paper which included the cutapart cards. The album is 7 1/2 " wide and 8 1/2" tall, with a 1 1/2" spine.
