Seam Binding, 2 yards each of Golden Rod and Nurust Burlap Jute Twine, 2 yards of Navy Tonic Studios Pearlescent Cardstock, Navy Dazzle I also received two sheets of heavy weight chipboard (see link below)

Country Craft Creations, Design Team Project Walk Through, Explosion Blocks!!

I came up with a cute project you will love.  It's an album, a decor piece, and a memorabilia holder all in one!  The paper told me to make "wooden blocks" and this is what I came up with!  The paper is gorgeous and bright and so fun.  I hope you enjoy the video.  The tutorial will be up soon!

NEW!!! Baby Explosion Box Tutorial, Large 6 x 6" size!

 

I have made a new explosion box, supersized to 6 x 6".  This was a request from one of my subscribers, so I hope that it is what they wanted to see!  

I made a smaller version that was too small for all I wanted to do with it...so the bigger size was just what was needed.  The video has all of the information in it, and a cutting guide in the description.

Baby's First Year Album using Baby Dreams Girl from Country Craft Creations

 Happy Spring! 

I have a remake of my Baby's First Year Album that I wanted to share. I used Baby Dreams Girl from Country Craft Creations, and I updated the waterfall to my stacked technique. Both of those tutorials are listed in the video description. I hope you like this album...I think it's GORGEOUS!

Simple Stories Boho Baby Mini Album Tutorial, a Country Craft Creations Design Team Project

I have my baby tutorial up and available.  

I'm using the Simple Stories "Boho Baby" collection for the tutorial as it is my design team paper collection. I did the prototype in the exclusive Country Craft Creations collection "Baby Dreams Boy".  Please check out the store here.

A Baby Album!

Hi all!  I skipped last week.  Sorry!  It was a bad week at work I just didn't have the time or the energy to do the blog.  I apologize for that. I hope you had a great Mother's Day!  I sure did.  

Speaking of Mother's Day...a friend of mine is expecting a baby girl and I wanted to make her an album.  Jackie and I went to an Embellish It! all-day crop and I found this kit.  I knew it would be perfect.  I am sharing a lot of pictures but not all of them.  I did alter (as I always do) some of the pages to suit me.

 It's super cute, and it was super easy.  It uses the line from Simple Stories.

 Some of the pages are as it, and didn't require embellishments.

 I love the colors.  It is perfect for a boy or a girl.

 It features pages for pictures of the baby at each of the first 12 months.  It's super easy for the new mom to add her own pictures.

 I am loving the elephant!

I decided the cover needed to be decorated so I used some leftovers to do that.
