We are so glad you are here! We love making and sharing our projects, and we are excited to have you visiting our site. Please leave us a comment and let us know what you think!
It's finished!!! Come see the 3rd part of my turorial on my Bountiful Blessings Recipe and Photo Album! We finish it all up today, and the full walk through is at the end of the video! WOO HOO!!
The full supply list is in the video's description, but the main website for this amazing team I get to design for his here at Country Craft Creations.
Part 2 of my Bountiful Blessings Video is up and running. I have a link in the description for a document with the diagrams I used in the video. This is a great aid to help with the video so please check it out. Part 3 is coming soon, where we will work on the patterned paper and string closure. Thanks for watching...Happy Friday!
Once again, I have fallen a little behind on the blog...but here is an update to what I have been up to.
This is my latest video. It will be in parts, and it is using the magnificent collection, "Bountiful Blessings" from Country Craft Creations. It's actually a remake of an old album I made before I was a designer for them. I have updated it and revised it and I think it will be better than ever! There is a lot of information in this video's description, so check it out and stay tuned because I have more on this one on the way.
This is a quick video on a project I made on a whim. I raided my supplies and used a Dollar Tree heart shaped wand with a wooden spool and created this beauty! Spooky, isn't it??
Here's an idea for a Halloween Treat Box that is quick and easy to make...check out how you can use up some scraps and make a fun little goodie container.
Then I have this video with a tutorial as well. I used two separate kits from Your Creative Studio. I altered an old 7 Gypsies notebook and then did a tutorial on my never ending album with some amazing tropical papers.
I have been reflecting and decided to try a new way of thinking about my goals. Come and check out how I am going to try to go from brain storming to a more structured way of thinking about my lists of things to do in my craft room.
I appreciate your watching. Please check out the other ladies involved in this crafty adventure.
Hi all, and welcome back. I have a surprise for you!!!
If you haven't seen my Banner Album, I have a tutorial for it here. This is a design team project I did for Country Craft Creations. I used the amazing paper collection "Little Monsters" for this project and it turned out lovely!
The quick video walk through is in the video below. I was able to use up scraps and raid my stash of goodies. This album came out just adorable!
In the tutorial I did all of the cutting and template making by hand. I was asked by a viewer if by chance I had a cut file. I didn't, and it's something I hadn't done before. I love my Silhouette, but haven't created files to share with anyone before. Then, one of the other amazing designers from Country Craft Creations reached out to me (right after my viewer asked)...and we have embarked on another collaboration!
So now, I have made my first SVG files EVER for this album with a tremendous amount of help from this amazingly talented woman. Jacqualine Hart, of Jacqs Scraps on YouTube, has been the most important part of this file making adventure. She is also a designer with Country Craft Creations, and if you haven't seen her work, you must. Her YouTube is here. She is absolutely brilliant with creating incredible projects with her Cricut and creating SVG files to use with her designs. I have definitely learned a lot from her and with using the programs to make this happen. I am so pleased with what I have been able to learn and make so far...I hope that it will continue to be an option to provide cut files for you in the future.
I'm excited, and more than a little nervous...but here it goes. Please let me know what you think, and if you have any questions.
Jacqualine created the Banner Album page file for me. I can not take credit for that at all! I did (and remember, these are my first ones!) create the mats for the pages. She and I both cut everything and it worked perfectly on her Cricut and my Silhouette. So, without further ado...here are my very first files. Please also remember the files are for the Banner Album Page and the mats for the pages. All other interactions in this album do not have files, and will be shown in the tutorial.
For the Banner Album Page, there are lines in the middle of the image that are present for scoring. These lines are in green. I have changed them, for my Silhouette, into score lines. They will cut a very shallow line for scoring purposes. But please remember, I'm using Artisan Cardstock that is 87lb for the album page. If you are using anything less than 80lb, you may want to remove these score lines anyway, as they may cut a score deeper than you want. If you do not wish to have scoring lines in the page and to do them yourself, you will need to remove them and score by hand after you cut the banner page piece. I discuss how to do the scoring in the tutorial above. To remove these lines, once your image has uploaded into your software, ungroup and remove the inner lines. Then you can cut the outline of the Banner Album Page and score the page by hand using the directions in the tutorial.
You will also notice that the Banner Album Page is 12 x 6, and you will need a 12 x 24 mat to cut this page on your machine. (In the above image, the banner page was turned 90° clockwise, so the top of the banner page is on the right side.)
In the above folder, I have saved the mats files in two ways. Some mat files are single mats so that you can place them as you desire. I did also make mat files where the two front page mats are in a single file and the two back page mats are in a single file. You can choose how you want to use them.
The pieces to this album measure as follows, just in case they import at a different size (which sometimes happens). You can then, if needed, resize them appropriately.
Banner Page: 12 x 6
Front Page Mats: 5.476 x 5.75
Back Page Mats: 5.466 x 5.75
My mats for this album in the tutorial are cut with patterned paper.
I'm a novice with making files and I'm still trying to figure this out so thanks for your understanding and patience. Jacqualine is working with me on figuring this all out. (Bless her!!! She deserves a medal!!!)
Please remember that this is the first time I have created files like this so it's very new to me. I appreciate your support and hope that this works for you.
Stay crafty, and always keep learning, my friends!!!
Welcome! I have this fun little album for you today. I'm making this fun banner shaped album, based on an idea I had back in 2021 with my Midnight Kiss Exchangeable Banner Tutorial. That tutorial can be found here: https://youtu.be/wTjEJlYuPqE
This is fun and easy. I will show you how to make the template for the pages and for the mats. There are also fun interactions that I came up with. I hope you like the walk through at the beginning and the tutorial that directly follows.

You all have to see this...I made this junk journal as a project using Country Craft Creations "Midnight Potions" papers and it is amazing. Thanks so much for watching. Stay Crafty!
I know...another round up...LOL! This is a folio I created using products from a local scrapbook store, Cobblestone Creek, in Damascus, Oregon. If you are reading this and are local, please go check it out. It's super cute and she has all the things.

This tutorial features Daisy Journal Co.’s free July 2023 paper collection “Let’s Go to the Beach”. I found some bags in my stash and this was born. I talk you through my journal and then show you how to make the pages. It’s super simple.

Oh my, have I been a bad blogger. I have been trying to keep up with things, and I have, once again, a catch up post for today. I'm sorry. My hubby had surgery, and I have been taking care of him and working, and trying to keep up on my crafty stuff. But, today I have a list of things you may have missed. I hope that you all are also following my on my YouTube, or on Instagram, or even on Scrapbookers of Country Craft Creations on Facebook. If so, then YAY! If not, please go to the links and check it all out.
I just posted this today, it is an amazing album that I was inspired to make from seeing a maze card. It is so cool, and features a new paper clip closure for a waterfall.
This is a subscription box reveal from Your Creative Studio, this box is BEE THEMED!!!
I did a lot of patriotic crafting. It all started with designing a prototype for Country Craft Creations for our 4th of July YouTube Hop. This was so much fun and I made a ton of things.
Here is a video of the projects I made using the tutorials by the amazing Country Craft Creations Designers.
This is my submission for the Country Craft Creations YouTube Hope. I made a loaded goodie box full of fun things.
I also did my July #craftygoals2023 video...I was very busy!
I shared a take on the wave card that has been going around. I added a gift card holder to it...come check out how I did it.
And this is my latest design team haul from Country Craft Creations. Photo Play "Hello Lovely"! IT IS SO PRETTY!!!
Thanks for hanging in there with me and checking out my videos. I appreciate all of you support!
I posted some fun and quick tutorials that I wanted to share with you.
The first one is something that has been around for a while but I rediscovered it and thought about how I could use it in junk journals. The Origami Corner Bookmark is fun and easy and so pretty!
The Rolling Ephemera Holder/Organizer tutorial is practical! Store and sort and display your bits and pieces for your projects in a creative way! I share how to make this and believe me, you will want to.
Hi!!! I have two tutorials for you that I have posted in the last two days and I think you'll like them!
The first is the pen holder idea I came up with, inspired by another creator on YouTube "Medieval Mirage". The link to the video she did that inspired me is in the video description box. This is a fun tutorial, is extremely useful, and uses scraps. What can be better than that??
And this tutorial is a pictorial on how I made 6 different tags for journals. In the video I have pictures of the drawings with instructions on how to make them. Easy peasy lemon squeezy!
